I’m pulling for ya, pal!

That was the bumper sticker I saw on a car this morning on the way back from the gym. The gym is an interesting place. On fun Fridays during college I would go to the gym and workout for several hours to the point where my arms were shaking and it was difficult to eat with a fork. After working out, I would go swim, play water polo with some friends or go for a jog. Then I would eat a lot of food!

Well, I am a little older now and not quite as in shape. It makes me think of a few quotes.
“Don’t covet thy neighbor.” 10th commandment

“If everybody put all their problems into a pile and then had to withdraw their share of the problems, people would choose to keep their own. “(This is a paraphrase,–Voltaire).

Meaning, it is all about perspective. Accountability helps, too. So I have re-instituted various accountability checks into my own life around my physical fitness.

Here is a video where I talk about it.
